Fargo, North Dakota – The Fargo city is seeking feedback from the general public on more planned upgrades to Main Avenue.
Rebuilding Main Avenue from 25th Street to University Drive is the project’s main objective.
Replacing curb ramps, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water main, lighting, and traffic signals.
Additionally, the sidewalks between 23rd and 25th Street on the south side of Main Avenue will be widened.
Main Avenue in downtown Fargo was rebuilt only a few years ago.
“Probably the best way to boil this down is very similar to the approach that was taken on the downtown main Avenue project for those of you who were familiar with that were going to try to do it a few blocks at a time so that we’re not disrupting businesses for a really long time trying to keep that down to as little disruption as possible”. Says Project Manager Matt Kinsella.
2027 is when the project is expected to be completed.
