Chesterfield County, VA — A fatal crash involving an electric unicycle and a truck occurred Thursday afternoon, leaving one person dead. The incident took place just before 4:45 p.m. on January 9, 2025, along the 5700 block of U.S. Route 1 in Chesterfield County.
According to the Chesterfield County Police Department, officers arrived at the scene to find an unidentified victim lying in the roadway. The victim, who had been thrown from their electric unicycle, was transported to a local hospital but later succumbed to their injuries.
The driver of the truck, a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado, remained at the scene and is fully cooperating with the investigation. Authorities have not released further details about the victim or the circumstances surrounding the crash at this time.
