Man Dies After Stabbing on Richmond’s Southside

Richmond, VA – A man is dead after being stabbed multiple times in a residential area of Richmond’s Southside on Monday afternoon.

At approximately 12:06 p.m., officers from the Richmond Police Department were dispatched to the 100 block of Wythemar Street following reports of a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers found a man suffering from multiple stab wounds. Emergency responders quickly transported the victim to a nearby hospital, but he was later pronounced dead.

The identity of the victim has not yet been released, and authorities have not disclosed further details about the circumstances surrounding the incident.
