Around 5:30 p.m. on December 15, Richmond police responded to a call about a robbery in progress at a business located in the 5700 block of Hull Street Road. Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered a man with gunshot wounds inside the establishment. Despite attempts to render aid, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
