Fairfax Station Road between Colchester Road and Route 123 will be closed to through traffic, weather permitting, Wednesday, April 10 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to replace a drainage pipe

Richmond, VA – According to the Virginia Department of Transportation, people who need to reach properties along Fairfax Station Road will have access.

Drivers will not be able to go beyond the point of pipe replacement in either direction; the pipe is located near 11697 Fairfax Station Road between Innisvale Drive and One Penny Drive.

Through traffic will be detoured via Fairfax Station Road, Colchester Road, Popes Head Road (Route 654) and Route 123 back to Fairfax Station Road.

Drivers are asked to follow posted detour signs.
