Richmond, VA – According to the DMV officials, when renewing their registration online, customers will automatically save $1 and can save an additional $2 or $3 when renewing for two or three years respectively.

You can renew up to six months in advance.

A $10 late fee will be applied.

DMV Commissioner Lackey released the following statement:

“Save yourself time and money by renewing your registration online. Why visit DMV when you can renew from the comfort of your own home? It takes less than five minutes to do!”
