The Richmond Police Department in partnership with the Office of Immigrant and Refugee Engagement hosted the first session of the 27th Latino Citizens Academ

Richmond, VA – Richmond Police Department officials said the session was led by Officer Tejeda, Sgt. Perez, and Karla Ramos.

Richmond Police Department officials released the following statement:

“36 students attended the session and were welcomed by the chief of police, Rick Edwards who said YOU are part of our community – we are YOUR police department – and with ALL of us collaborating we can help keep everyone safe!”
