Fargo, North Dakota – A cable network and technology services provider from the region has intentions to invest $200 million in North Dakota to improve and expand its fiber network.
Midco said the network improvement in Midwest will benefit education, government operations, telehealth and remote working and comes as part of a larger $500 million investment.
The cable provider goal is to upgrade to 10-gigabit speed by 2030 and they’ve been working in the past years to achieve that.
Midco CEO Pat McAdaragh hopes the goal will be achieved much sooner as the upgrade is planned to start earnest next year.
