Cass County, North Dakota – On Friday afternoon an inmate had a medical emergency, according to Cass County Sheriff’s Office report.

Sheriff Jesse Jahner said a deputy at the Cass County Jail was alerted around 1:45 p.m. on June 25th by an inmate that his cellmate has a medical emergency.

Upon the alert, medical staff and deputies started with immediate lifesaving measures on the inmate and she regained consciousness.

The inmate was transported to a local hospital for medical evaluation and was released the couple of hours later.

No additional information was released at this time.
