Mask requirements in effect through end of school year in Fargo Public Schools

Fargo, North Dakota – The Fargo Public School Board voted 5-4 in a special meeting to extend the district’s mask requirement in effect until the end of the school year.

Masks will be made optional on FPS campuses on June 7th, and several board members noted that they see no problem in moving that date up by a few days.

Those opposed to the move, on the other hand, said that both teachers and the teacher’s union didn’t agree, and that various organizations, including Fargo Cass Public Health, continue to urge mask coverings in schools.
