Grand Forks, North Dakota – A suicidal man disturbed Grand Forks residents on Monday morning.

Officers responded to a report of a suicidal man with a weapon at a house on 600 block of 41st Avenue South around 6:38 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers set a perimeter around the residence and made contact with the man. Resident of the home were located and no one was injured among them.

The man was detained without incident since he did not have a weapon in possession. He was transported to a local hospital for mental health evaluation.

Information about the identity of the man were not provided at this time.
