Fargo police searching for pit bull’s owner that attacked a woman and her dog

Fargo, ND – A body was found Friday afternoon near the Red River in South Fargo.

Authorities were reportedly called to an area near the river at 52nd Avenue around 3:30 p.m.

Police, fire and ambulance all responded to the scene for a report of an unconscious person.

A short search led to the body being discovered inside a wooden shelter.

Fargo Police have told us that the person had taken their own life. The incident remains under investigation.
