Native American Month events held at NDSU

Bismarck, North Dakota – November is Native American Month, a time to honor Native American heritage, language, and customs.

This month, North Dakota State University is hosting a number of events, one of which being the opening ceremony, held at the Newman Center today.

The following week, a tipi will be set up for guests, and there will be a talk about the value of storytelling for tribal people’s education.

A workshop on creating hemp bracelets and dream catchers will take place in the Memorial Union later this month.
