Bismarck, North Dakota – As a part of Capital A’Fair Sunday, Mustangs and Fords of the Dakotas Car Club held their annual auto show.
This car event stands apart from others since Fords of any make or model are welcome to enter. The club has performed this particular act for 27 years and sees other performances all year long throughout the Bismarck-Mandan region. Les Hoesel, club president, emphasized the significance of staging this kind of event in order to demonstrate to the public how automobiles used to look, what they stood for, and the future direction of the auto industry.
“There’s a lot of beautiful cars out there. As the new ones come out, you are losing the looks of the old ones. The look is being more redefined where it’s not the same as it was, so there’s a lot of nostalgia with the old cars,” said Hoesel.
There were 60 automobiles in the event on Sunday, according to Mustangs and Fords of the Dakotas. The Fly-In and Drive-In at the Bismarck Aero Center is where you can see this group the next time; that is on September 10.
