Mckenzie County, North Dakota – In a recent social media post regarding vandalism, North Dakota Tourism urged the public to “see something, say something.”
The government posted on Facebook that it has received numerous reports of graffiti on the cannonballs at the North Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park.
According to the department, graffiti hastens erosion, reducing their longevity for future generations.
North Dakota Tourism wants to remind people that vandalism is wrong and destructive to the state’s natural beauty.
