Red River Valley Fair gives Fargo police officers a donation of more than $40,000

Fargo, North Dakota – More than $40,000 has been given to the families impacted by the officer-involved shooting in the city on Friday afternoon by the Red River Valley Fair.

The Red River Valley Fair urged locals to attend the event on Sunday since all gate entry money would be given to the affected officers’ families.

“Thanks to everyone who came to the Fair yesterday, we raised $43,473”

“We are so appreciative to be part of a community that comes together to support one another,” read a post on the Red River Valley Fair’s Facebook page.
