Band night parade ‘plan B’ took place at schools in the area

Bismarck, North Dakota – Although the weather forced the cancellation of Band Night Parade at Eckroth Music, students still gave performances.

Despite the rain, students from Wachter Middle School got together with those from Bismarck High School to play their instruments.

The first opportunity for Wachter seventh graders to march occurred on Friday night, while it was the final chance for BHS seniors to march with their band.

The band directors claim that even though they couldn’t, they knew what to do to keep the event going.

“Kids were pretty bummed when they found out it was canceled, but I let them know ahead of time we were working on a plan B. So, they were pretty excited,” said Wachter Middle School Band Director David Augustadt.

Century High School shared a campus with Horizon Middle School.
