Deer may be present on North Dakota highways

North Dakota – Be on the lookout for white-tailed deer if you’re traveling in North Dakota over the coming week on rural roads.

Near Antler, North Dakota, U.S. Customs reports that several deer have been spotted there.

Over the coming days and the entire holiday season, this will be an issue.

There will be an impact on stopping distance because certain roads are still icy.

Therefore, the police are warning motorists not to swerve. Instead, break gently and strike the buck.

White Tail Deer are an issue throughout our state, but at the moment, law enforcement is noticing more of them north of Minot and in the vicinity of the Magic City.
