Power restored in West Fargo after equipment failure

West Fargo, North Dakota – An equipment failure at a substation north of I-94 in West Fargo left more than 350 Cass County Electric customers without electricity.

Around 1,000 residents were affected by the outage that started at around 6 p.m. on Wednesday.

Crews were trying to reroute electricity through another substation.

Cass County Electric officials announced that the power had been restored as of 9:45 p.m.
