Bismarck, North Dakota – The Mandan Murders Trial has reached a guilty verdict.
The jury found the defendant, Chad Isaak, guilty of four charges of murder, burglary, concealment within a vehicle, and unauthorized use of a vehicle after debating for four hours on Thursday afternoon and Friday morning.
During the three-week trial, the state presented evidence that Isaak entered RJR Maintenance and Management on April 1st, 2019, and brutally stabbed and shot four RJR workers to death.
The state relied largely on circumstantial evidence, such as a fiber analysis of clothing discovered in Isaak’s possession and fibers found on the victims, and an examination of gun parts found in Isaak’s freezer, while the defense questioned the investigation’s integrity.
Isaak’s maximum sentence is life in prison without parole.
