Motorcyclist dead after crashing into vehicle at SE Eagle Creek Road

Eagle Creek, OREGON – Oregon State Police officials said the fatal accident occurred right before 1 p.m. Friday afternoon.

It happened on Hwy 211.

OSP troopers responded to a report of a crash.

The responding troopers discovered that the 69-year-old driver of Honda CRV attempted to turn east onto SE Eagle Creek Road.

The 51-year-old motorcyclist collided with the Honda CRV.

He suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

He was later identified as Jade Pruitt.

The 69-year-old driver of the vehicle was not injured, troopers said.

This incident remains under investigation.
