Police: Man struck, killed by train in Woodburn

Woodburn, OREGON – Woodburn Police Department officers responded right after 7 p.m. Thursday to a report of a pedestrian struck by a train.

This unfortunate accident occurred at North Front Street and Cleveland Street.

Authorities say the victim went around downed crossing arms, attempted to cross the tracks in front of the locomotive.

The victim was then struck near the intersection.
