Fargo, North Dakota – Protesters in Fargo are urging Wells Fargo to break connections with Enbridge Energy and stop construction of the Line 3 replacement pipeline.
They met at Island Park before marching to the downtown Wells Fargo store to deliver a letter to the bank manager.
It expresses their worries about the pipeline’s violation on treaty rights and environmental effect.
“We’re not stopping until we protect our mother earth and our next seven generations. It’s our duty and our responsibility as Anishinaabe people,” said Activist Tracey Wilke.
This is the second effort to deliver the letter to the bank asking it to quit from the project.
