$1-Million Powerball winning lottery ticket sold in North Dakota

BISMARCK, ND  – A North Dakota Powerball player became has won $1-million.

The Powerball ticket for Wednesday night’s draw won by matching five white balls. The winning numbers were 2, 20, 49, 61, 67 and the Powerball was 20. The Power Play multiplier was 2.

The ticket was sold at Jason’s Super Foods in New Town. Jason’s Super Foods will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning Powerball ticket.

“We are extremely excited to have been the only lottery to have a Match 5 Powerball winner.  If you have the winning ticket, the first thing you should do is sign the back of the ticket,” said Randy Miller, director of the North Dakota Lottery.

Winners have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize. Prizes over $599 must be claimed at the North Dakota Lottery in Bismarck, but because the Lottery office is currently closed to the public, the winner(s) will need to contact the ND Lottery first, to receive special instructions and make arrangements to claim their prize. The Powerball jackpot for the Saturday, May 2 draw is $51 million.
