RICHMOND, Va. — A Chesterfield County woman was killed and two men sustained serious injuries in a three-vehicle collision on Chippenham Parkway near the Huguenot Road interchange Monday afternoon.
According to Richmond Police Department, the crash occurred around 4:42 p.m. on June 2 when an unidentified male driver traveling northbound crossed the median and collided with two southbound vehicles.
The drivers of the other vehicles were a 31-year-old Chesterfield County resident, identified as Tiana Baker, and an unidentified man. No other passengers were reported in the three vehicles.
All three individuals were transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Baker later succumbed to her injuries, while one of the other men has since been released. The driver who crossed the median remains hospitalized as of the time of the report.
Police have not yet filed any charges, and the investigation into the circumstances of the crash remains ongoing.
