New Nonstop Flight from Richmond to Palm Beach Launching This Fall

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — Travelers flying out of Richmond International Airport (RIC) will soon have a new nonstop destination to choose from, as Breeze Airways adds a new route to its growing lineup.

Starting September 5, Breeze Airways will launch twice-weekly nonstop service from RIC to Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) in Southeast Florida. The flights will operate on Mondays and Fridays, offering passengers a convenient option for weekend getaways or extended stays.

The announcement marks the 39th nonstop destination available from Richmond International Airport, further cementing the airport’s role as a key transportation hub for Central Virginia. The Palm Beach route also expands Breeze Airways’ footprint at RIC, where it currently offers a mix of year-round and seasonal destinations.

“We are pleased to see Breeze Airways continue to grow its offerings at RIC,” said a representative from the airport. “This new route to Palm Beach provides travelers with more flexibility and direct access to one of Florida’s most desirable coastal regions.”

Breeze Airways, which brands itself as a low-fare airline focused on underserved routes, has steadily increased its presence at RIC since its launch in 2021. The airline is known for offering nontraditional routes between smaller and mid-sized cities, bypassing larger hubs.

Palm Beach International Airport serves the West Palm Beach area and offers easy access to popular Florida destinations including Palm Beach, Boca Raton, and Delray Beach.

Tickets for the new route are expected to go on sale soon via the Breeze Airways website.
