RICHMOND, Va. — A man was found dead Sunday afternoon near Richmond’s wastewater treatment plant, prompting an investigation by the Richmond Police Department.
At approximately 2:22 p.m. on April 6, police responded to a report of an unresponsive individual in the 1400 block of Brander Street. Upon arriving at the scene, officers confirmed that the man had been pronounced dead.
According to the Richmond Police Department, there are currently no indications of foul play, but the cause and manner of death remain under investigation. Major Crimes detectives have been assigned to the case to determine the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
