Woman Arrested on 13 Felony Charges After Vandalizing Public Park in Petersburg

PETERSBURG, Va. — A 21-year-old woman was arrested on Saturday, March 8, following a vandalism incident at Poplar Lawn Park in Petersburg. The woman faces 13 felony charges after concrete tables and benches at the park were damaged.

According to the Petersburg Bureau of Police, officers were called to the park after receiving reports of the vandalism. Investigators later determined that the woman and an associate had gotten into a heated argument before the destruction occurred.
