Qualla Road Closed in Chesterfield County Due to Downed Utility Pole

Chesterfield County, Va. – A portion of Qualla Road in Chesterfield County was closed on Sunday afternoon after a utility pole was knocked down, causing significant disruptions in the area. The closure, which affected traffic between Crumpland Road and Clearpoint Drive, was reported by the Chesterfield County Police Department around 2 p.m. on March 9.

Authorities advised drivers to seek alternate routes as crews worked to repair the broken utility pole and downed power lines. The road is expected to remain closed for an extended period as repairs continue.

According to Dominion Energy, the incident has left approximately 153 customers without power in the affected area. The utility company has estimated that power will be restored between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Sunday.
