PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. — A motorcyclist was airlifted to a local trauma center after a crash in Prince George County on Tuesday afternoon.
Emergency responders from Prince George County Fire and EMS were dispatched to the intersection of Prince George Drive and Courthouse Road around 3:00 p.m. on February 25, after reports of a motorcycle collision. Upon arrival, first responders provided immediate medical attention to the injured motorcyclist.
Due to the severity of the injuries and the crash’s location, officials determined that airlifting the victim was necessary. A helicopter was called in for transport to a nearby trauma center for further treatment.
At this time, additional details surrounding the circumstances of the crash, as well as the extent of the motorcyclist’s injuries, have not been disclosed. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident.
