Woman Killed in Single-Vehicle Crash in Henrico County

Richmond, VA – A woman is dead following a single-vehicle crash in Henrico County on Tuesday evening, December 10. The incident occurred around 8:22 p.m. at the intersection of Nine Mile Road and Laburnum Avenue.

According to the Henrico County Police Division, officers arrived at the scene to find an unidentified woman outside of the vehicle. Police said the woman had sustained life-threatening injuries. She was the sole occupant and driver of the car at the time of the crash.

Emergency responders attempted to provide aid, but the woman was later pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet released her identity pending notification of family members.

The intersection where the crash occurred remains closed as the Henrico Police Crash Team investigates the cause of the incident. Police did not provide a specific timeline for when the area will be reopened but indicated that further updates will be shared as the investigation progresses.
