Woman Fatally Shot in Richmond on Saturday Night

RICHMOND, Va. — A woman has died after being shot multiple times in Richmond on Saturday night, February 15.

At approximately 10:44 p.m., officers with the Richmond Police Department responded to the 1300 block of Jennie Scher Road following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered a woman who had been shot multiple times.

The victim was promptly transported to a nearby hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. The identity of the woman has not been released at this time pending notification of next of kin.
