CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — Two individuals were hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash late Monday night on Hull Street Road in Chesterfield County.
At approximately 10:10 p.m. on April 28, officers from the Chesterfield County Police Department responded to the scene in the 6600 block of Hull Street Road. According to investigators, one of the vehicles was traveling westbound on Hull Street Road when the driver attempted to turn onto Chippenham Parkway. During the turn, the vehicle collided with another car that was traveling east on Hull Street Road.
As a result of the crash, two people were transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. Authorities reported that their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
At the time of reporting, police had not released further details regarding the crash. Hull Street Road in the vicinity of the incident remained closed as of late Monday night, with authorities estimating that the road would reopen around midnight.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
