Richmond, VA – According to the statement, during the closure, drivers should follow the posted detour route:

Northbound traffic: Traveling on Route 692 (Sapony Church Road) continue east on Route 40 (McKenney Highway), left on Route 709 (Shippings Road), left on Route 692 (Sapony Church Road).

Southbound traffic: Traveling on Route 692 (Sapony Church Road) continue south on Route 709 (Shippings Road), right on Route 40 (McKenny Highway), right on Route 692 (Sapony Church Road).

Anyone with questions about the project can call VDOT’s customer service center at 800-FOR-ROAD (800-367-7623).
