The Richmond Police Department welcomed back 8 sworn officers!

Richmond, VA – According to the police officials, these former Richmond Police Department officers had retired or had taken positions in neighboring police departments, but following a swearing-in ceremony, Chief Edwards is welcomed them back in the Richmond Police Department!

The Richmond Police Department has varied roles, full-time and part-time, that continue to attract officers from other departments and retired RPD officers wanting to again be part of the RPD story, officials say.
