The “Click It or Ticket” campaign in North Dakota kicks off on Wednesday

Bismarck, North Dakota – In an effort to lower collisions and fatalities, increased police presence is anticipated throughout the approaching Christmas season.

On Wednesday, police departments will launch the Click It or Ticket program.

It is scheduled to end on December 14th.

More than half of the people who have died in collisions this year did not have seatbelts on.

In North Dakota, failing to buckle up is now a major infraction that can result in a car being pulled over by the police alone as of August.
