Suspect who fired shots over the weekend in downtown Fargo arrested

Fargo, North Dakota – The suspect in connection to shots fired incident over the weekend, which upset the Fargo residents, has been arrested.

After conducting an in-depth investigation over the last couple of days, the 24-year-old suspect Alexis Araiza of Fargo has been arrested for Terrorizing and Felony Reckless Endangerment.

According to authorities, the suspect was acting out of reckless disregard and no individuals have been targeted.

No one was injured following the incident.

As officers were searching for a possible suspect, an early morning shelter in place order was issued for the area.
