Fargo, North Dakota – The PACT Act claims clinic that was scheduled for Wednesday afternoon has been postponed until March 29, the Fargo Department of Veterans Affairs announced on Wednesday.
The clinic will be held in the hospital’s third-floor auditorium from 4-6 p.m., along with the other specifics remaining the same.
Individual appointments with VA claims representatives will be available for participants to submit claims and finish hazardous exposure screenings.
Veterans exposed to Agent Orange, burn pits, and other toxic substances are now eligible for expanded VA health care and benefits under the PACT Act.
The PACT Act, according to the VA, helps ensure that future generations of veterans and their survivors receive the care and benefits they are entitled to. It may be the largest healthcare and benefits expansion in VA history.
