West Fargo, North Dakota – One of the best teachers in West Fargo is being honored.
The Council for Exceptional Children presents stories from teachers across the world who have demonstrated a passion, devotion, and commitment to making a difference in their students’ lives each week leading up to their 100th birthday. Amy Braddock of West Fargo Public Schools was honored as the Council’s inaugural honoree.
Braddock works at Harwood Elementary School as a special education teacher. She has worked as an assistive technology specialist, a high school comprehensive student support program teacher, and most recently as an elementary special education teacher throughout her 12 years with the district. She is the previous president of the North Dakota Council for Exceptional Children unit and a member of the organization’s leadership development committee.
Braddock graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a master’s degree in special education from the University of North Dakota.
