Second phase of the CPR project on 13th Avenue South starts today

Fargo, North Dakota – Workers will begin construction on Phase Two of the 13th Avenue South Concrete Pavement Rehabilitation Project, which will run from 25th Street South to 21st Street South, on Monday, May 2.

In this part, motorists will only be able to use one lane in each direction. The second phase is projected to take up to six weeks to complete.

The concrete pavement rehabilitation project along 13th Avenue South spans between 21st and 28th Streets South. The first phase of this project, which runs from 25th Street South to 28th Street South, was finished last fall.

Construction personnel remove damaged sections of concrete pavement and replace them with new concrete during CPR projects. Sections of the road will be open to traffic again when the new concrete has reached the strength needed.
