Richmond Woman Identified in Weekend Homicide

RICHMOND, Va. — Richmond Police have identified the woman who died after being found with a gunshot wound inside a vehicle over the weekend as 42-year-old Ebony Allen of Richmond.

Officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 600 block of Westover Hills Boulevard on Sunday, May 4, at approximately 8:07 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Allen inside a vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound.

She was transported to a local hospital where she later died from her injuries, police said.

The incident is being investigated as a homicide. No information about potential suspects or a motive has been released at this time.
