Richmond Police Investigating Stabbing on West Carnation Street

Richmond, Va. – The Richmond Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a stabbing that occurred late last month.

At approximately 7:00 p.m. on January 29, officers responded to the 6800 block of West Carnation Street after receiving a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, police found a 22-year-old male suffering from multiple stab wounds. The victim, who was in distress, was immediately transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.

Investigators learned that the stabbing followed an altercation between the victim and the suspect. After the incident, the suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction.

The department is actively working on the case, but no arrests have been made at this time. Police are continuing their investigation and are hopeful that information from the public will help bring the suspect to justice.
