Person of interest in Jesus statue vandalism identified

Fargo, North Dakota – A person of interest in the vandalism of a statue outside St. Mary’s Cathedral on April 17 has been identified by the Fargo Police Department.

The police department on Monday, June 14, sent the case to the City Attorney’s Office for pressing charges.

Authorities stated since they have not made an arrest yet, the person will not be identified at this time.

The statue was cleaned after the incident.
