Grand Forks, North Dakota – Residents in Grand Forks are advised to reduce their outdoor water usage.
The action is part of the city’s Drought Management and Demand Reduction Plan, which is in its first phase.
Residents are only allowed to water their lawns two days a week in the early mornings, starting today.
According to the city, the decision to implement watering restrictions was caused by a combination of decreased stream flow, increased water usage, and dry, hot weather.
