Bismarck, North Dakota – According to Job Service North Dakota, there were more than 13,000 available positions in North Dakota as of July. That is a decline of around 2.3% from June.
There are more than 3,000 fewer employment available in the state now than there will be in 2022. Over 60% of all job openings, according to Job Service, were advertised in the last 30 days.
With 55 new positions added thus far in 2023, Stutsman County has experienced the most rise in job vacancies, while Cass County has experienced the largest decline, with more than 1,500 jobs exiting the market.
Less than 3,000 employment positions are now available in Burleigh and Morton counties.
