BISMARCK — Following are the North Dakota Department of Health COVID-19 case rates, deaths, hospitalizations and vaccinations as of Sunday, April 25. Because all data is preliminary, some numbers and totals may change from one day to the next.
Statewide case rates
- NEW CASES: 34
- TOTAL ACTIVE CASES: 991
- TOTAL CASES: 106,688
- TOTAL RECOVERED: 104,211
- DAILY TEST POSITIVITY RATE: 2.5%
North Dakota’s active case count dipped below 1,000 for the first time since March 29. Cass County, which includes Fargo, reported 253 active cases Sunday, a drop of 39 from Saturday. Burleigh County, which includes Bismarck, also had a notable decline of 21 cases to 145. The two-week rolling average positivity rate is 4.4%.
Hospitalizations, deaths

The health department reported no new deaths on Sunday.
Vaccinations
- FIRST DOSE ADMINISTERED: 273,139 (46.6% of population)
- COMPLETED SERIES (2 doses): 233,259 (39.8% of population)
