Bismarck, North Dakota – The House of Representatives in North Dakota has decided not to pass a bill that would have authorized group hunting during the deer hunting season.
The proposed legislation would have authorized a hunting party with ten people or fewer to take home an equal number of deer as the number of hunting licenses held by the individuals in the party.
In order to participate in a party hunt, each individual would have needed to possess a valid combination license.
The amount of fishing and hunting licenses that the North Dakota Game and Fish Department hands out would not have been affected by the measure.
