Fargo, North Dakota – The North Dakota Patrol is honored for upholding the highest standards of professionalism.
“So it covers everything from HR and how we handle complaints all the way through to the equipment we issue to officers and officer’s safety aspect, do you have body armor, do you have cameras,” said Highway Patrol Superintendent Colonel Brandon Solberg.
According to Solberg, the agency has received advanced certification from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies once more.
The Highway Patrol has received the honor for fifteen years running.
The NDHP must adhere to more than 350 industry-specific public safety criteria in order to keep that designation. The NDHP, according to Solberg, was one of the first state law enforcement organizations in the country to receive advanced accreditation.
“Our dedicated team members continually prove they’re capable of meeting the highest standards of professional excellence in the field of law enforcement,” said Solberg.
