West Fargo, North Dakota – The West Fargo Police Department is looking forward to its annual Night to Unite event, which will take place at Elmwood Park in West Fargo on Tuesday, August 3, from 5 to 8 p.m.
Community members gather to have fun at the event each year, while learning about the metro’s public safety agencies. Elmwood Park is filled with food trucks, information booths, activities for all ages, demonstrations and more at the event.
“We are excited to continue this annual community event with over 40 different booths for attendees to visit. There is something for every member of the family,” said Sari Supler, Night to Unite coordinator and evidence technician for the West Fargo Police Department.
West Fargo Police Department, the K-9 Unit, SWAT team, bomb squad, the West Fargo Fire Department and arson investigation canine, Vitalant blood drive are included in this year’s demonstration lineup.
The event is free of charge.
“Night to Unite is a yearly opportunity to come together as a community, strengthen relationships and have fun. We are excited to offer this community event once again this year after missing 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic,” Chief of Police Denis Otterness said.
Passports will be given to attendees to complete activities during the event. When activities completed, passports can be handed in to be put into a prize lottery.
