NDDOT will fully open the I-29 bypass lanes close to Argusville

Fargo, North Dakota – Today, workers are getting ready to completely reopen a stretch of Interstate 29 that has had lane closures for most of the year.

Throughout the summer, as contractors work on bypass lanes and crossings for the FM Area Diversion project, traffic on I-29 just south of Argusville has frequently been restricted to one lane in each direction.

By the end of the day on Friday, October 3, the northbound and southbound bypass lanes will both be fully opened to two lanes.

Through the winter, crews intend to keep working on the crossings for the diversion channel in this location.
